After all, a steady paycheck seems to be a better alternative to a business that statistically stands a slim chance of surviving. 33% of all businesses fail in their first couple of years and more than 50% close in the first four years. This does not exactly sound promising, does it?

Most businesses fail because they run out of cash. With no more money for operation expenses, a business has to close. Unfortunately, there is no sure way to prevent the failure of any business. There is also no sure way to ensure a business success.

Why Start a Business?

If statistically, putting up a business is a losing venture, why do small businesses keep popping up everyday? It is because people always want something better for themselves and for their families. You might think there is more to life and your professional career. You might want to be the next Bill Gates or Michael Dell. You might want to “work for yourself” or want to pursue your dreams.

These dreams never do exactly match up with reality. Still, it is through these dreams that you can attain the passion to launch your own business.
